I watched Fantastic Fungi on Netflix last night. A brief description:
Fantastic Fungi is a 2019 American documentary film directed by Louie Schwartzberg.[2] The film combines time-lapse cinematography, CGI, and interviews in an overview of the biology, environmental roles, and various uses of fungi. The film features interview segments with Paul Stamets and Michael Pollan.
The website for the film is here: https://fantasticfungi.com/
At the end, Paul Stamets, acclaimed mycologist and entrepreneur described his mother’s experience with cancer.
One day his mother came up to him and said her left breast was five times the size of the right one. Having never been to a doctor before she did not know what to do.
After being told in hospital she may not have long to live, maybe three months to live, and the second worst account of breast cancer they have seen, and may need strong treatments, Paul went out on a wing and spoke to a doctor about his profession and showed him the literature, which the doctor allowed.
After giving her some of the trametes versicolor (Turkey Tail mushroom) over a year on top of the usual meds, she was then 100% cancer free a year later. The doctors said it was the quickest and most complete recovery they had ever witnessed.
See Paul tell the story here (and meet his mom 😀):
Mushrooms must be very rich in some of the nutrients we are lacking and must also be helping increase functionality of the detoxification pathways.
For a further look into mushrooms with Paul Staments, here is one:
Wonderful true story… 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💖
I wish I knew this information when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer back in 2005… She had the mastectomy, the chemo, and the radiation and then she died in sickness and agony two years later… How many other wonderful therapies are big pharma suppressing?! 😢🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Just sickening… 😢
