Reward for "HIV" Virus
Offered by Alexander Russell. A Reward. Does this sound familiar?
I would like to welcome new readers from
where I found some new material to write about in the future. I hope to join a few more dots here.
In my last post I wrote about a reward offered for a coronavirus. I would now like to share what I found while digging around.
This is 20 years ago now, but a reward was offered for the HIV virus on this page. Hmmm, a reward for a virus, that sounds familiar.
Here is an excerpt:
THE HUW CHRISTIE MEMORIAL PRIZE
$20,000 Reward for 'HIV' Offered by Alexander RussellApril 2002
"...infectious units, after all, are the only clinically relevant criteria for a viral pathogen."
-- Peter Duesberg and Harvey Bialy (Nature, 375, 1995, p. 197)I am offering £10,000 Reward for the first person who can prove that 'HIV' exists.
There is no update to the page that lets us know what happened. The page is still up and running, so someone feels it is worth keeping active.
The page continues:
Hans Gelderblom of Berlin's Robert Koch Institute co-authored the first paper in Virology, March 1997, showing 'purified HIV' to be 'purified microvesicles'. What was assumed to be 'purified HIV' was in fact "an excess of vesicles" - particles of cellular proteins. The hypothetical 'HIV' is in fact a collection of endogenous microvesicles and cellular proteins (which also never seem to form particles - so how can they be infectious)? Cell-free viral 'HIV' particles have never ever been visualised in any freshly donated bodily fluid including semen, blood, etc. 'HIV' has never ever proven to be a sexually transmitted retrovirus.
This is sounding very much like the questions about more recent viruses, including the one that has been in the headlines the least two years.
The rules for attempting to isolate the putative 'HIV' via the Etienne de Harven methodology are:
Who is Etienne de Harven you might ask? At the bottom of the page, it concluded with a brief bio of Etienne de Harven as follows:
Etienne de Harven is Emeritus Professor of Pathology, University of Toronto. He worked in electron microscopy primarily on the ultrastructure of retroviruses throughout his professional career of 25 years at the Sloan Kettering Institute in New York, and 13 years at the University of Toronto.
I thought it would be interesting to see what he may have written since the above page stated that the reward would be payable if the Etienne de Harven methodology was followed.
I then looked up Etienne de Harven and came upon this site https://www.sleemy.net/Aids.html upon which I found this quote:
What HIV actually causes, is the inflation of some bank accounts...
and a terrible WORLD PANIC.
That sounds remarkably familiar to me, how about you?
and the following statement:
20 years later the HIV=AIDS theory is still not proven. In July 2002 already, Alexander Russell offered 100'000 dollar reward (still unclaimed today) for the first person who can prove that HIV causes AIDS.
I have not verified whether or not this reward is unclaimed, but since I have yet to see evidence a virus exists, I am willing to bet no reward money has been paid.
Continuing my search on Etienne de Harven I came upon his own web page which is still up and running here: http://www.sidasante.com/edh/edhvih.htm
One of the pages is in French, so here is the title in English:
'HIV' HAS NEVER BEEN ISOLATED
Namur — October 12, 2002.
Etienne de Harven
Here is the full post translated to English, if you care to take a look:
It does get a bit technical but is worth the read if you are so inclined, I will include some highlights:
Again, we find that isolation is a murky term:
In AIDS dissent circles, you will often hear the assertion that HIV has never been isolated. This assertion is categorically rejected by well-meaning orthodoxy as belonging to the realm of heresy. It is often debated in a somewhat laborious way by dissenters, the difficulty arising from the fact that the word "isolation" is not always given the same definition.
Here we find a suggestion that viruses are endogenous and activated by the act of culturing itself:
Everything suggests, on the contrary, that the endogenous retroviruses of this lymphocyte from the blood of the umbilical cord were activated by the particular conditions of the culture.
And his conclusion:
Indeed, HIV has never been isolated or purified.
Retroviral particles, most likely of endogenous origin, have been observed in cell cultures, but their hypothetical link with AIDS patients has never been proven, hardly more than their pathogenicity.
If you have evidence that the reward has been claimed and/or you know of evidence that HIV has been purified (not just isolated in virology terms) then let us all know in the comments below. Bonus points if you have evidence it causes AIDS.
Thanks for the mention Genki Man. We are, literally, on the same page!
